This issue features Superman and Lois back in Hamilton recovering after the revelations of the last arc. Apparently Lois has now officially Lois Lane Kent which is cool. Strangely, Batman and Robin show up to say that something is weird about their son Jon and it has to do with the dairy farmer next door. I have no idea where this is going.

Superman, Jon Kent (Not ready to call him Superboy yet – that is Connor Kent to me) and Robin search for the missing Batman in Hamilton and fight a monster. Most of the fight was forgettable except the end where we reveal Kathy Cobb has powers. I suspected she was innocent in all this but I was wrong.

I have to wonder in this day and age why Lois’s Justice League communicator isn’t just an app on her cell phone. It is great to have Doug Mahnke on board as Lois kicks serious ass as she is attacked by members of the town of Hamilton. I did not expect this town to turn out to be evil like this at all. I wonder if it was planned all along or not?

Manchester Black turns out to be the big bad in this issue. Apparently his team is trying to turn Jon into a hero willing to kill to save lives and has been manipulating them the whole time. I like how they are digging deep into DC continuity everywhere and bringing back old characters.
